Vida Health Accessibility Statement

At Vida Health, our goal is to create healthier populations by focusing on whole health — treating the body and mind together. That means providing equal healthcare access to all, whether or not they live with a disability. According to the CDC, 26% of adults in the United States have some type of disability. These individuals live with both visible and invisible challenges that call for necessary considerations.

According to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), accessibility measures make everyday life more convenient for everyone. But, for some people, accessibility makes everyday life possible.

We’ve seen our virtual care platform make meaningful changes in people’s lives, so we’re committed to making our app wholly accessible to everyone. We work hard to implement and meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level A and AA. We also strive to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) effective communication requirements, and other applicable regulations.

We know this is a serious commitment that requires dedication, consistency, and accountability. Therefore, to accomplish our goal of providing equal access to people, we continuously evaluate the state of accessibility within our mobile application and implement changes and improvements.

At Vida, we want to hear from you if you encounter any accessibility barriers on our mobile apps. Please contact our Customer Support at support@vida.com with the subject line: “Accessibility.” We take this commitment seriously, so your feedback is very important to us. Thank you for partnering with us as we work to make body and mind care accessible to everyone.
